Interjections
Interjections demonstrate emotion. They're typically, though not always, followed by an exclamation point. Examples include "hurray," "uh-oh," and "alas." For example:
Yay! I'm so excited you're here.
Hey, get back over here, missy!
Give me a break, sheesh!
